Getting Started...

Teaching professionals can use wikis and blogs as a free and easy source of professional development. To get started consider the following steps...

-Use supportblogging.com as a blog search engine and add them to an RSS feed reader. You can find an example of a feed reader service at www.pageflakes.com

-Dedicate a few moments of your day to check your blogs and feed reader each day.

-Share your new information on teaching practices and ideas with your co-workers.

Wikis allow groups of users to colaborate to editable websites. Through sharing the responsibility of the creation of the wiki, there is far less intimidation for the user.
